Job Description

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join an international team working on a sophisticated desktop application. This role requires a strong automation background and hands-on experience testing across frontend, backend, integrations, and APIs.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for desktop applications.
  • Execute and improve end-to-end testing strategies covering frontend, backend, and system integrations.
  • Validate APIs and backend services using Postman and other testing tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, QA specialists, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Squish for test automation or any other framework.
  • Valuable experience working in environments where C++ applications are developed and maintained.
  • Strong experience testing desktop applications.
  • Proven experience testing:• Frontend functionality
  • Backend services
  • System integrations
  • APIs
  • Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, with the ability to integrate testing into development workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) is mandatory.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with test automation best practices and quality metrics.
  • Exposure to international and cross-functional teams
