As an Operations Network Engineer, you will play a central role in helping us manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure and efficient operation and development of the company´s network infrastructure. You will assist in maintaining solutions running on-premise, in public cloud environments, as well as solutions provided by external partners.
Join our IT team that designs, builds and operates the systems that support Aller Media’s different business units across the Nordics.
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will range from L2 support, maintaining and operating the network, servers, storage, and virtualization platforms that drive our business:
- Ensure daily operation and performance of routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure.
- Operate hybrid infrastructure across on-prem servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud platforms
- Support cloud environments in Azure/AWS/GCP
- Monitor network health, performance, bandwidth utilization and availability
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Learn and assist with automating routine tasks using scripting or IaC tools
- Collaborate across IT and other departments
- Be part of the On-Call team to handle incidents outside working hours.
What you bring
- 2+ years of experience from a similar infrastructure or network role (less experience is accepted if your theoretical foundation and drive are strong).
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (Fortinet, Cisco)
- Familiarity with Windows server administration and virtualization (Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with managing Enterprise Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco)
- Familiarity with managing Enterprise Wireless Solutions (Cisco Meraki)
- Knowledge about Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- You are fluent in one more Nordic language(s) (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian) and professional English
- Proactive, eager to learn, and a “keep-it-simple” mindset.
Valuable extras:
- CCNA or CCNP and/or NSE certifications (or equal level of expertise)
- Experience with Fortinet or Cisco Meraki solutions.
Note: No specific degree required; experience and competencies take priority.

Your office location is Copenhagen – the office is centrally located, modern, and offers a comfortable and inspiring work environment.
