About Unifeye
Unifeye is a delivery-led, Databricks-first consultancy helping organisations unlock the full value of their data and AI.
We’re a lean, high-growth team based in London, working at the intersection of data, technology and business strategy. We partner with enterprise organisations across industries to solve complex data challenges through modern Lakehouse architectures and AI solutions built on Databricks.
Joining Unifeye means more than delivering projects. From day one, you’ll be trusted to take ownership, challenge conventional thinking and make a genuine impact. With a high degree of autonomy, you’ll help shape client outcomes, influence our analytics capability and play a key role in the growth of the business.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team and help enterprise clients turn their data into insight that senior stakeholders genuinely act on.
This is a consulting role as much as an analytics one. You’ll work directly with business stakeholders to understand the decisions they’re trying to make, shape the reporting that supports them, and build it yourself in Power BI, Tableau and Databricks. Where many analysts execute a plan someone else has written, we’re looking for someone who can walk into the room, work out what the business actually needs to see, and then design the best way to show it.
Alongside client delivery, you’ll contribute to the continued growth of Unifeye’s BI and analytics capability by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues and helping shape our reporting standards and reusable assets.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build and deliver dashboards and reporting products using Power BI, Tableau and Databricks AI/BI.
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate them into clear, decision-focused reporting.
- Run discovery sessions, requirements workshops and solution design conversations with client teams.
- Define and agree metrics, measures and reporting models that stakeholders trust and adopt.
- Rationalise fragmented reporting estates into a curated set of reports that get used and maintained.
- Present insight to senior and executive audiences in a way that drives action, not just awareness.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Architects and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
- Contribute to the development of Unifeye’s internal BI capability, reusable assets, templates and delivery standards.
- Stay up to date with the evolving Databricks analytics and AI/BI toolset and help shape the future direction of our analytics offering.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Previous consultancy or customer-facing delivery experience, you are a consultant first and an analyst second.
- Strong commercial experience designing and building dashboards and reports in Power BI and/or Tableau, including data modelling and DAX or equivalent.
- Strong SQL and confidence working with complex, imperfect data.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into defined metrics, reporting models and clear visual outputs.
- A strong visual and editorial instinct, you have a view on what makes a dashboard genuinely usable, and can explain it.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior and executive audiences.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, collaborative consultancy environment.
Desirable
- Experience working with Databricks, including Databricks SQL and AI/BI dashboards.
- A background in management consultancy or a specialist data practice.
- Experience in public sector, higher education or other regulated environments.
- Exposure to data governance, data quality or migration workstreams.
- Databricks certification.
