DIS is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement customized solutions to support security across the Salesforce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices in Salesforce development
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Salesforce performance, functionality, and data integrity
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, solutions, and configurations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and release management.
  • Task Description: The Salesforce Developer will provide administration, configuration, diagnostics in Salesforce in support of the Veterans Affairs (VA) enterprise. Qualified candidates should meet the requirements and qualifications below.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex and Lightning development
  • Experience with JavaScript, Python, SOQL, and SOSL
  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and able to attain a Tier 4 Public Trust clearance.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Developer certification (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) is a strong plus
  • Proven track record of successful Salesforce project delivery in a collaborative team environment
