The Job Role as IT Business Analyst:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and software development teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and development tasks, managing the product backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of solutions that create business value.

The ideal candidate understands both business and technical perspectives, is comfortable driving discussions with stakeholders, and has hands-on experience working with Scrum teams using Jira and Atlassian tools.

What you’ll do:

Business Analysis & Requirements Management:

  • Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, functional and nonfunctional requirements.
  • Create and maintain business and technical documentation.
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood by development teams and stakeholders.

Backlog & Scope Management:

  • Own and maintain the product backlog.
  • Break down epics and high-level requirements into manageable user stories.
  • Prioritize backlog items together with Product Owners and business stakeholders.
  • Manage changes in requirements and proactively control scope changes.
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and impacts of proposed changes.

Agile Delivery & Team Collaboration

  • Actively participate and manage Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives
  • Support development teams by clarifying requirements and removing ambiguities.
  • Collaborate closely with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, DevOps and Mobile Team.
  • Ensure business expectations are aligned with technical implementation.

Performance & KPI Tracking:

  • Monitor and report delivery KPIs and team performance metrics.
  • Analyze sprint velocity, backlog health, and delivery progress.
  • Create delivery reports for stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Technical Understanding:

  • Understand software development lifecycle and implementation processes.
  • Participate in solution discussions and support decision-making regarding technical approaches.
  • Understand APIs, system integrations, data flows, and application architecture at a functional level.
  • Support testing and validation activities to ensure delivered functionality meets business expectations.

Key qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications and digital products.
  • Proven experience working in Agile Scrum environments, gathering and documenting business requirements, and translating them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and development tasks.
  • Proven experience translating business requirements and agreed scope into a clear product roadmap, delivery plan, and measurable implementation timelines.
  • Experience collaborating with software development teams and managing requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience with backlog management, sprint planning, and Agile reporting.
  • Experience with process modeling and documentation tools (e.g., Miro, Visio, Figma, UML, BPMN).
