BASIC FUNCTION

Under general Engineering supervision, responsibilities will include the accurate preparation and maintenance of Engineering master data, bills of materials, Engineering Change Requests, and other supporting data according to established procedures for all generator models.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • With direction from EDS Staff/Team Lead, accurately prepare and maintain Engineering master data, bills of materials, Engineering Change Requests, and other supporting data according to established procedures for all generator models.
  • Work in conjunction with Mosel Engineering System Support to utilize standard software and processes for data services requirements.  
  • Support and contribute information cross functionally to achieve desired process and design results.
  • Develop and demonstrate proficiency in SAP & Windchill.  
  • Work with Project Engineering to ensure that data is accurate and entered on time.
  • Analyze incoming data and make recommendations for changes or modifications.  Investigate and report potential data problems.
  • Takes ownership and accountability of both individual work and work completed as part of a team.  
  • Collaborates cross functionally to achieve desired results.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Any Graduation (non-engineering discipline) with 2+ years’ experience in data entry into an ERP system
  • SAP knowledge is preferred
  • Experience working in an engineering environment is beneficial
  • Strong written and verbal communication and facilitation skills
  • Excellent documentation
  • Drive for continuous improvement
  • Self-starter and well organized
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Visual Basics & Macros)
  • Power BI knowledge is beneficial
