Ventia is one of Australia's leading essential services providers, delivering critical infrastructure, asset management and facilities maintenance solutions across the country.

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team supporting the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA), South Australia's largest government facilities management contract. AGFMA delivers maintenance and project services across more than 5,000 government-owned sites spanning schools, hospitals, health facilities, courts, police stations, emergency services and community infrastructure.

Based within the Port Pirie and Clare region, you'll play a key role in delivering projects that directly support essential services and communities throughout South Australia.

The Opportunity This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering autonomy, flexibility and a varied project portfolio.

Operating in a fast-paced environment, you'll manage multiple projects at different stages of delivery, partnering with government stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to deliver successful outcomes. You'll oversee projects from inception through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, budget and schedule requirements are achieved.

With a balance of office-based planning and on-site engagement, you'll enjoy a highly autonomous role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage infrastructure and facilities projects from initiation through to completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, risks and performance
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across government agencies
  • Facilitate site meetings, toolbox talks and project reviews
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting and project updates
  • Drive successful project outcomes while meeting contractual KPIs

About You You may come from a project management, construction, facilities management, maintenance, contract administration or site supervision background and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two projects are the same.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience delivering construction, maintenance or facilities-related projects
  • Strong stakeholder and contractor management capabilities
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules and reporting
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Project Management qualifications or certification (preferred)
  • Experience as a Site Supervisor, Contract Administrator, Project Coordinator or Project Manager will be highly regarded
