Engineering Program Manager – Consumer Electronics Hardware
📍 Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite) 💼 Employment Type: W2 Only NO OPT/CPT

We're looking for an experienced Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead the development of next-generation Android XR hardware platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional engineering teams and drive innovative products from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead end-to-end development of Android XR hardware platforms. ✅ Drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, manufacturing, and suppliers. ✅ Manage hardware NPI (New Product Introduction) builds and product development milestones. ✅ Own program schedules, budgets, resource planning, and risk management. ✅ Lead phase-gate reviews and ensure successful product launches. ✅ Coordinate with global development partners and manage build execution. ✅ Resolve technical and program risks while keeping projects on schedule. ✅ Drive process improvements to enhance product development efficiency.
Required Qualifications
✔️ 8+ years of overall professional experience. ✔️ 5+ years of Hardware Engineering Program Management, Product Design Engineering, or related experience. ✔️ Strong Consumer Electronics Hardware experience (required). ✔️ Hands-on experience with Hardware NPI Build Management. ✔️ Experience managing the complete product development lifecycle and phase-gate process. ✔️ Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. ✔️ Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams and external vendors. ✔️ Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Experience shipping high-volume consumer electronic products. ⭐ Supplier development and manufacturing experience. ⭐ Budget planning and scheduling expertise. ⭐ Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
