We are expanding our cybersecurity capabilities and are looking for a Cybersecurity Architect with a strong focus on Zero Trust who understands complex IT environments and can translate security requirements into practical, implementable solutions.
Your MissionAs a Cybersecurity Architect, you work at the interface between business, security, technology and delivery.
You understand the challenges our customers face, assess existing environments and identify where security needs to evolve.
You combine consulting skills with strong technical expertise – from the first assessment and target architecture through technology selection and implementation together with our engineering teams.
You ask the right questions, challenge existing assumptions and communicate confidently with stakeholders from management to engineering teams.
- Assess existing IT and security environments and identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities
- Design Zero Trust and enterprise security target architectures
- Develop practical security roadmaps and implementation concepts
- Advise customers on security architecture, Zero Trust strategy and technology selection
- Design solutions across IAM, ZTNA, SASE, network segmentation, cloud and endpoint security
- Evaluate security technologies, products and licensing models against customer requirements
- Translate business, security and compliance requirements into technically implementable solutions
- Lead security workshops and architecture discussions with customers
- Support implementation together with cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, DevOps and software engineers
- Help shape and further develop cogify’s cybersecurity offering
Your Profile• Experience in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, cybersecurity consulting or a comparable role
- Strong understanding of Zero Trust architectures, technologies and principles
- Good knowledge of frameworks such as NIST SP 800-207, CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model or comparable approaches
- Strong knowledge of areas such as IAM, ZTNA, SASE, network security, segmentation, cloud security and access control
- Experience designing or implementing enterprise security solutions
- Ability to evaluate security technologies and select appropriate solutions for specific requirements
- Strong understanding of enterprise networks, identity, authentication and cloud environments
- Ability to translate complex security topics into clear decisions and practical solutions
- Confident communication with both business and technical stakeholders
- Independent, pragmatic and quality-focused way of working
- Fluent English or German is required
Nice to Have• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, ISSAP or comparable qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Cloudflare, CrowdStrike or similar technologies
- Experience with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
- Experience in regulated or security-sensitive environments
- German, French or other languages in addition to your primary working language
