Job Description:
Abacus Intel is seeking a Project Manager to oversee delivery timelines and sprint execution for its engineering organization. This position is responsible for managing a dedicated product backlog using Scrum and Kanban methodologies within two-week sprint cycles, and for coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Data Science to ensure on-time delivery of product initiatives. The Project Manager will facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives; track progress against delivery milestones; and proactively identify and resolve scheduling risks or resource constraints. This position supports delivery across Abacus Intel's product portfolio, including MVerify, Abacus Pricing & Analytics (APA), LifeARC, CRM, and AccuQuote, and reports to the Product Manager, translating product strategy into structured, executable delivery plans.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution
o Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
o Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and roadmaps
o Track progress and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and blockers
- Team Coordination & Communication
o Serve as the main point of contact between technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership
o Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
o Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations across the team
- Organization & Reporting
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation
o Monitor performance against KPIs and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
o Ensure projects adhere to established workflows, best practices, and compliance standards
- Tool & Process Management
o Drive adoption of agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices
o Utilize Jira for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting
o Maintain structured knowledge bases and documentation in Confluence
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong budget/schedule management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Job Type: Full-time ONSITE Monday to Friday
