AES - DE - FS - DOTNET Full-Stack Microservices

Description We are seeking an experienced Azure Developer with a strong background in C# and .NET. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing, re-platforming, and modernizing legacy API and integration platforms and associated tooling, and migrating on-premise infrastructure to Azure cloud as part of a global, dynamic, collaborative team. This role emphasizes both cloud-native development and robust automated testing practices, and so the candidate should demonstrate proven expertise in these areas, including using open-source automation testing technologies like XUnit and Specflow/Reqnroll.

Responsibilities

following) · Develop highly performant, public-facing REST APIs and system integrations in Azure. · Document APIs conforming to the Open API 3.x framework. · Participate in code reviews, design workshops, and story/ticket elaboration. · Review legacy implementations and collaborate with the architecture team to design and build modern solutions. · Ensure secure, scalable development, testing, and hosting of the new platform. · Lead and contribute to the automation of testing and deployments, with a focus on writing and maintaining automated test cases using Reqnroll. · Collaborate with the Testing Team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. · Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency of automated testing processes.

Professional

Membership · Educated to Degree Level or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or related subject · Azure Certifications are an advantage

Required Skills

· C#, Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Service Bus, Azure Function Apps, Auth0, WebSockets · Strong experience in C# and .NET Core across diverse projects · RESTful API development and documentation (Open API 3.x / YAML / Swagger) · Azure environment development, deployment, and support, with a focus on security and authorization · Performance tuning of APIs and Azure Functions · Automation testing using technologies like XUnit and Specflow/Reqnroll · Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to best practices in test automation · Familiarity with AWS and ElasticSearch is beneficial but not mandatory · Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast
