Summary/Objective:

As part of the Product Development and Engineering team, the Engineering Change Manager will drive complex, technically related programs and partner with a talented engineering team in crafting creative solutions. This position is an integral part of the engineering development teams and is responsible for driving the design changes through execution with a broad range of oversight tracking, and program management responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with development teams, Project Managers, and the Program Management Organization to establish and facilitate engineering change order submissions.
  • Identify and manage risks with manufacturing for validation builds.
  • Facilitate the plan for transition at the OEM customer with Technical Sales.
  • Communicate requirements to internal and external partners and drive them to closure.
  • Provide proactive and clear input to the project teams on schedules, issues, and deliverables such as core member of the Lunch Readiness Team.
  • Effectively and consistently communicate overall Engineering Change Order status.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily working indoors, office environment.
  • May sit for several hours at a time.
  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
  • Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of technical project management experience.
  • Manufacturing launch experience with demonstrated attention to detail in part number and transition planning and organization.
  • Proven Track record of managing complex hardware and software production schedules.
  • Experience in risk mitigation.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
