Apple's Hardware Test Engineering team is seeking a Software Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to deliver impactful software solutions that scale across Apple's entire product ecosystem. Our team sits at the heart of New Product Introduction (NPI), and Early Engagement of new Technologies, ensuring Apple products "just work" and delight customers from the moment they open the box.

Description

As a Software Engineering Program Manager you'll drive end-to-end delivery of software algorithms, applications and systems that enable hardware design validation, calibration and testing across Apple's entire product ecosystem. You'll partner with Engineering, Technology, Operations and other cross-functional organizations to translate complex technical requirements into actionable programs and ensure on time delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field 2+ years of software project management experience Proven expertise in requirements analysis and translating business needs into technical specifications Demonstrated success delivering high-quality software projects on time through effective quality management and milestone tracking Track record of identifying technical risks early and leading technical deep dives with SW engineers, DevOps and QA to resolve complex technical challenges Excellent presentation skills with proven experience delivering clear project updates and priorities Knowledge of software engineering standard methodologies (Agile, DevOps, quality assurance processes) Passion for operational excellence and customer-focused outcomes

Hands-on software engineering and development background a plus - we value candidates who have written code, built systems, and understand the development lifecycle from experience
