This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Systems Analyst - Infor FSM based in United States.
This role is an opportunity to shape and support enterprise business systems with a strong focus on Infor FSM and Infor OS technologies. You will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while helping ensure critical applications remain reliable and effective. The position combines business analysis, systems architecture, integration development, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing production support. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, programmers, and external vendors to deliver meaningful system enhancements. Your work will span both strategic improvements and hands-on resolution of complex technical issues. This is a remote, cross-functional environment where strong technical judgment, communication, and problem-solving skills can make a measurable impact.

Accountabilities:
- Solicit, assess, and prioritize requests for system enhancements, translating business needs into clear business and technical requirements.
- Partner with business units to understand desired changes and develop sustainable, scalable solutions for design, development, and implementation.
- Oversee the development and implementation of system enhancements involving internal teams and third-party resources.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for users, addressing questions and issues ranging from routine requests to complex application challenges.
- Analyze user errors and system issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and coordinate appropriate responses or resolutions with IT resources.
- Collaborate with external vendors on integration development, including building, modifying, maintaining, and supporting system integrations.
- Review programmer specifications and determine technical approaches that best align proposed solutions with business requirements.
- Test new and modified functionality to validate business and technical requirements, including supporting business leads through user acceptance testing.
- Perform performance testing and assess potential impacts of system changes before and after implementation.
- Provide ongoing application and integration support to ensure solutions continue to meet evolving business needs.
- Implement reporting and analytical tools that support system governance and provide business owners with actionable insights.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering support knowledge bases, data sources, data flows, application logic, enhancement and issue logs, architecture, standard operating procedures, disaster recovery plans, and related project materials.
- Research industry developments and technology best practices to identify opportunities for improving project outcomes and system capabilities.
- Contribute to additional IT initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with Infor OS application and data tools, including Infor Process Automation (IPA), Infor ION, Landmark Pattern Language (LPL), and Infor OS Data Fabric.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application development, systems analysis, integrations, and business requirements management.
- Experience working with APIs and integration technologies, including JSON and XML.
- Strong SQL programming skills and experience working with database technologies such as SQL Server and/or DB2.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and develop practical, scalable solutions.
- Experience collaborating with IT and business stakeholders and the ability to influence decisions across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Excellent documentation skills and a highly analytical, detail-oriented approach to systems and application support.
- Experience with software testing, user acceptance testing, performance validation, and production support.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, accuracy, and responsiveness.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to researching technologies and industry best practices.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% for projects.
