JOB SUMMARY
Come join a dynamic Mobile Engineering team on the world-class Marriott Bonvoy apps. As an Associate Software Engineer (ASE), you will design, develop and implement features in the Bonvoy iOS Mobile App. You will work closely with experienced engineers and within multi-disciplinary Product teams (Product, Scrum, UX, Eng, Content, QA, etc.) to deliver global features across many continents and languages, with high standards for user experience and global compliance. You will learn and enhance your software engineering skills from coding (e.g., Swift, SwiftUI, REST, GQL, etc.) to engineering best practices, Apple Design standards, security standards, Agile/SAFe delivery models and more.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Undergraduate degree, equivalent experience, or certifications
- Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal, written communication and teamwork skills
PREFERRED
- Basic/introductory knowledge of Swift / iOS Development

Delivering Technology
- Delivers assigned features as expected
- Participates in requirements and code reviews
- Complies with defined development and business case processes
- Coordinates with appropriate IT and vendor relations teams as assigned
- May provide consultation for routine systems development
- Coordinates with Operations and Infrastructure teams for deployment and production support activities
IT Governance
- Follows all defined IR standards and processes (i.e. IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, etc.), and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed
- Maintains a proper balance between business and operational risk
- Follows the defined project management standards and processes
