Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior React Developer to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building modern, responsive, and high-performance web applications using React and related frontend technologies. You will collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiences for enterprise-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js.
- Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components.
- Develop new features and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and designs into high-quality user interfaces.
- Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following frontend best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and usability issues.
- Work closely with backend, DevOps, QA, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of frontend development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with React.js in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with React Hooks, Context API, and state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Sass, and responsive web design.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Familiarity with modern frontend build tools such as Vite, Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.
- Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering (SSR).
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and SEO best practices.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 40,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 140,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
