Job Description Lead the design, development, and evolution of large-scale iOS applications and platform capabilities. Serve as the technical expert for iOS architecture, mobile frameworks, performance, security, and reliability. Drive technical strategy and influence engineering decisions across multiple teams. Lead complex projects with moderate to high risk and cross-functional dependencies. Identify and resolve system-level issues, proactively addressing root causes and preventing recurrence. Own service health, operational excellence, and incident management across multiple products or teams. Review and approve high-level architecture and design decisions. Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams. Partner with Product, UX, Platform, and Engineering leaders to deliver business outcomes. Act as a trusted advisor for mobile engineering best practices and innovation.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in iOS development using Swift and modern iOS frameworks. Deep knowledge of mobile architecture patterns, APIs, security, performance optimisation, and application lifecycle management. Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver innovative solutions. Experience leading large-scale engineering initiatives across multiple teams. Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, CI/CD, testing, observability, and operational excellence. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership experience Influences decisions across teams and value streams. Leads major programmes and technical initiatives. Develops and improves engineering processes, practices, and standards. Drives adoption, scalability, and operational manageability of platforms and services. Communicates complex technical concepts and influences organisational direction.
