Desenvolvedor(a) Fullstack (Python & React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Fullstack (Python & React) based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity to take technical ownership of an evolving financial data platform with an existing functional MVP. You will work across backend, frontend, data engineering, infrastructure, and AI-powered capabilities. The role combines hands-on development with architectural decision-making and product-oriented thinking. You will help refactor critical areas, improve scalability and performance, and introduce new features that expand the platform’s value. Your work will include building data-rich interfaces, strengthening data collection pipelines, and integrating modern AI capabilities. As a key technical contributor, you will have significant autonomy to solve complex challenges and influence the product’s technical direction. This is a remote, full-time opportunity for a developer who enjoys ownership, experimentation, and building products from an established foundation.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the technical evolution of the financial data platform, taking ownership of architecture, implementation, and continuous improvement.

• Maintain and expand the existing RESTful backend using Python and Django, optimizing APIs, application architecture, and database performance.

• Refactor critical components of the existing MVP to improve scalability, maintainability, reliability, and overall system performance.

• Develop and improve data collection and scraping processes for financial indicators and other relevant datasets, ensuring resilience against failures and access restrictions.

• Build and maintain sophisticated React interfaces, including interactive dashboards, charts, and data visualization components.

• Ensure seamless integration between frontend applications and backend services.

• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Docker Compose, supporting reliable development and deployment workflows.

• Improve deployment pipelines and infrastructure management across cloud environments.

• Integrate LLM APIs and AI capabilities for semantic analysis, data vectorization, and other intelligent product features.

• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate user needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Make architectural decisions independently and proactively identify and resolve technical bottlenecks.

• Balance engineering quality, system stability, user experience, and product value when prioritizing technical work.

Requirements:

• Strong professional experience as a Fullstack Developer, with the ability to work effectively across backend and frontend technologies.

• Advanced knowledge of Python 3.x and proven experience with Django or FastAPI.

• Strong experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React, including Hooks, Context API, and state management.

• Advanced SQL knowledge and practical experience working with data-intensive applications.

• Experience with Pandas and data processing workflows.

• Hands-on experience with web scraping and data collection libraries such as Playwright, Selenium, Scrapy, or BeautifulSoup.

• Strong knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose for containerizing and orchestrating application services.

• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Ability to work with databases and optimize data access for performance and scalability.

• Experience building interactive data visualizations and dashboards is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of ETL, data normalization, and data engineering concepts is a strong advantage.

• Experience with AI/LLM APIs, semantic analysis, or vectorization is desirable.

• Experience in financial products, fintech, or financial data platforms is a plus.

• Strong autonomy and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound technical decisions independently.

• Product-oriented mindset, understanding that technology should ultimately create value and deliver a strong user experience.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve and technical ownership is expected.

• Higher education in a relevant field, including a degree, technologist qualification, or postgraduate qualification.
