Job descriptionKey roles & responsibilities
Quality Assurance Task:
- Developing, implementing and maintenance of a Quality Assurance System for the business
- Create overall Quality plans for products/parts as per drawings / specifications.
- Organization and execution of quality control of incoming goods; special inspection of incoming goods.
- Organizing and executing first article inspections (FAI) with Product management.
- Maintain vendor supply record and prepare quality rating for suppliers.
- Conducting risk analysis, identify critical control points
- Assuring high quality during production process.
- Attending supplier’s audits
- Analysis and documentation of quality check results and coordination of improvement measures
- Co-ordinating and executing the calibration/validation of all measuring and monitoring equipment through approved calibration service providers
- Create and maintain TPM for the machines/equipment
- Coordinating the special processes applicable in Production through trainings, qualification and audits.
- Monitoring of work environment requirements applicable in Production (eg. ESD)
- Training all relevant stakeholders on various quality parameters and its importance to end product as well as customer satisfaction.
Repair Task:
- Analyzing and repair of returned goods from customers and internal teams.
- Ensure the repaired products are meeting the quality standards in factory
- Analysis of internal and external complaints with relation to products
- Always aim of zero failures
- Support to other departments with quality and process related queries
- Communication and organization internally and with subsidiaries related to repair
- Documentation of returned product with evaluation of risks and possible errors
Authorities
- Inspection and approval of incoming good.
- Issuing Replacement for failed products returned by customer within warranty period.
- Qualification of special processes
- Empowered to stop the process or product, if quality or product safety requirements are not met.
Qualification and required key skill sets
- Diploma with 2+ years of working experience in QA, manufacturing or products
- Bachelor of Engineering with 3+ years of working experience in QA, manufacturing or products
- Special focus on electrical, electronics, mechatronics and mechanical items (experience/knowledge in electrical/electronics 60% and mechatronics/mechanical 40%)
- Experience in measuring mechanical and electric components according to drawings/specifications
- Knowledge of standards, norms and tolerances (IPC, DIN etc.,)
- ISO 9001 / IRIS awareness
- ESD awareness
- Quality awareness (Usage of QC tools, 8D, FMEA, Control plan etc.,)
