JOB PURPOSE

As part of the Group Information Technology Department, the new resource will join the team in charge of the proprietary applications supporting the Retail, Industrial and Real Estate functions, currently counting around ten different applications.

He/She will support both the application maintenance activities (AMS) and the evolutionary ones, contributing to requirements analysis, feasibility assessment, testing and release, in close cooperation with the external development partners and with the business functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect and formalise the requirements coming from the business functions, drafting functional analysis, feasibility assessments and functional specifications for change requests and new applications.
  • Follow the external development partners along the delivery cycle, ensuring the correct alignment between business needs and implemented solutions.
  • Prepare and execute functional and regression test cases, manage the anomalies detected and support key users during UAT and release phases.
  • Support the AMS activities on the applications in scope, managing the requests coming from users and business functions.
  • Manage the ticketing flow, monitoring incidents and coordinating with suppliers for the resolution of anomalies (migration to ServiceNow currently ongoing).
  • Take part in project activities and progress meetings, including the initiatives related to the introduction of AI within the applications in scope, and prepare reports, dashboards and analysis.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Bachelor's or master's degree; a technical background (engineering / computer science) is preferred but not mandatory.

Ideally 2-4 years of experience in functional analysis or application support, gained in an IT internal department or in a consultancy company.

Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem; knowledge of SharePoint and Power Apps and familiarity with ticketing tools (ServiceNow) are considered a plus.

Ability to draft functional analysis and project documentation, and knowledge of application testing methodologies.

Hands-on and operational attitude, willingness to learn, analytical skills (such as Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving and Proactivity), accuracy and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Good relational skills with both technical and business interlocutors;

English level B2 (spoken and written).

Location: Arezzo – San Zeno site, with periodic presence at the Valvigna site.

RAL: 35.000 - 42.000 Euro
