About the role

The engineer will investigate and resolve complex production issues within the Account Receivables platform. They are responsible for performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes through the full DevOps lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve complex production issues impacting the MARS platform.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy fixes following DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Partner with Production Support, Architects, and Product teams to prioritize and resolve critical issues.
  • Improve platform stability, performance, resiliency, and observability.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
  • Document findings, solutions, and preventative measures.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Strong Java 17 development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux/Project Reactor).
  • Experience developing and supporting microservices architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of Cassandra.
  • Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
