ROLE -

Drive engineering execution across Gradding and MySIPOnline. In the first phase, lead the MySIPOnline rebuild with its tech lead, strengthen Gradding's platform with its existing team, establish disciplined engineering practices and progressively grow into group technology leadership.

  • 8+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years leading a team of roughly 5-15; still highly hands-on.
  • Strong TypeScript: Node.js/NestJS on the server and React/Next.js on the front end.
  • Deep MySQL/Postgres expertise: schema design, indexing, query planning and performance optimisation.
  • Practical experience with queues and caching using BullMQ/Redis or equivalent.
  • Built observability and on-call systems using Sentry or another APM, alerting and production support practices.
  • Has set up and maintained agent-driven software engineering workflows, not merely used coding assistants.
  • Has shipped an LLM feature or conversational agent to production, including evaluation, cost, latency and failure modes.
  • Strong plus: Experience building regulated, transaction-heavy or high-trust consumer platforms; fintech or wealthtech exposure is an advantage.
