Main Purpose of the role:

The Finance Analyst is responsible for compiling, structuring, and analyzing Finance data, policies and or procedures to help streamline processes and make data-driven decisions. They play a crucial role in supporting Finance operations, reporting or procedures through technological tools and data analysis.

Main Tasks:

  • Collect data from systems and internal parties
  • Analyze reports and provide recommendations
  • Create process maps

  • Create or update Standard Operating Procedures
  • Prepare clear, readable reports of findings and present recommendations to Finance leaders
  • Support ad-hoc projects for both internal and external parties
  • Prepare and present key analysis, trends and recommendations to Management and Sr. Management
  • Identify automation or improvement opportunities
  • Identify and implement technology utilization

Requirements

Must be a student of Finance, Business Management, Mathematics, or Accounting

***Must be able to commit to 20-hours per week, on-site, during normal business hours

Looking for systems-oriented student

Strong Analytical skills

Proficient in English language (Speaking, reading and writing).

Studies in Maritime, Supply Chain or Logistics a plus!
