The Role

As a Visual Designer, you’ll help Big Happy deliver campaigns for clients by creating mobile advertising experiences. You’ll collaborate with teams within the organization to contribute to next-level client materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in internal brainstorms and creative meetings
  • Develop design concepts for pre-sale mocks as well as execute the design for post-sale ad campaigns
  • Bring ad designs to life through animation techniques
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver pre and post sale creative that meets and exceeds client expectations

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with all teams in the organization
  • Ability to meet all deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task

To perform this job successfully, the individual must possess the following:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher, or a comparable mix of education, experience, and skills within Graphic Design
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience (full time or freelance)
  • Proficient with design tools – Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Docs
  • Strong visual design skills
  • Ability to present and explain your design decisions
  • Portfolio demonstrating basic understanding of user-centered design solutions
  • Nice to have: Basic knowledge of motion graphics for animation
  • Nice to have: Basic knowledge of ad formats

Location: Remote US

Compensation: The range for this role in the US is $50,000-65,000 base salary + 15% semi-annual bonus. Actual base pay will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and location. The total compensation package may include bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
