Job Description
The Associate Vice President, Product Manager partners with Wealth Management business stakeholders and technology teams to define, prioritize, and deliver technology capabilities that support business growth, operational efficiency, advisor productivity, and client experience.
Working closely with product leadership, engineering, architecture, data, and business teams, the Product Manager helps translate business objectives into scalable technology solutions and supports the planning, delivery, and adoption of key initiatives across Salesforce and related Wealth Management platforms.
The role combines product management, business analysis, and platform expertise, serving as a critical bridge between business and technology organizations. The successful candidate will develop deep expertise within assigned business domains while contributing to the long-term evolution of Wealth Management technology capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management & Business Partnership (35-45%)
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, operational challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support product roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery activities for assigned business capabilities.
- Collaborate with product leadership to evaluate and prioritize initiatives based on business value, strategic alignment, effort, and risk.
- Develop a deep understanding of Wealth Management business processes, user needs, and technology capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, operational scale, and enhanced client and advisor experiences.
- Support business case development and help define success metrics for key initiatives.
- Track adoption and business outcomes for delivered capabilities and recommend future enhancements.
Business Analysis & Solution Definition (30-40%)
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery activities.
- Document current-state and future-state business processes, workflows, and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable backlog items.
- Facilitate stakeholder alignment and drive resolution of business and functional questions.
- Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and validate delivered functionality against defined requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, process artifacts, and product knowledge.
Solution Delivery & Platform Enablement (15-20%)
- Partner with engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, release, and adoption.
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, release readiness, and deployment activities.
- Configure and maintain declarative Salesforce functionality including Flows, reports, dashboards, approval processes, page layouts, and related platform capabilities.
- Support platform governance, change management, and user adoption initiatives.
- Collaborate with data, integration, and engineering teams to ensure end-to-end solution effectiveness.
Leadership & Organizational Contribution (5-10%)
- Promote best practices across product management, business analysis, and solution delivery disciplines.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Build domain expertise and progressively assume broader ownership of business capabilities over time.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Wealth Management Technology product management function.
- Remain current on Salesforce capabilities, industry trends, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools and productivity solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 6-9 years of relevant experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Salesforce Administration, CRM, Consulting, or related technology roles.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with business stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions.
- Strong experience gathering requirements, defining business processes, and translating business needs into actionable delivery plans.
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks and managing product backlogs.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow and other declarative platform capabilities.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence outcomes and build alignment across business and technology organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Business Analyst Certification.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification.
- Experience within asset management, wealth management, financial services, or fintech organizations.
- Experience supporting Distribution, Relationship Management, Client Service, Marketing, or Operations teams.
- Experience with Copado, Jira, and Git-based deployment processes.
- Familiarity with enterprise integrations, data platforms, and analytics solutions.
- Experience contributing to product roadmaps, prioritization activities, or business capability planning.
- Experience operating within highly regulated environments.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and adoption of emerging technologies.

Compensation
The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus. Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.
