We dive deep to understand each customer's unique challenges, then craft innovative solutions that accelerate their success. This customer-first approach is how we built the world's most adopted cloud. Join us and help us grow.

We are hiring a Solutions Architect to work with customers across multiple industries. Solutions Architects engage with customers to understand their business drivers, assess application portfolios, and design reliable and cost-effective cloud-native architectures. As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with several AWS teams to create solutions that address business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.

You should enjoy thinking strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable at the intersection of technology and business. The Solutions Architect is a technical role - you must be broadly competent across many areas of technology (infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, data analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI) and deep in at least 2-3 of those areas. On the business side, the ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical for our customers’ successful use of AWS. The Solutions Architect will spend most of their day interacting with several customer stakeholders, including Developers, Engineers, Directors, and CxOs.

Key job responsibilities - In partnership with the Business Development team on daily basis, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS - As a key member of the solutions architecture team, ensure success in building, migrating and modernizing applications, software and services on the AWS platform - Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud - Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS (i.e Dev Days or Immersion Days) - Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community - Contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as white papers - Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support

A day in the life Daily work: Architecture reviews, customer discovery calls, technical demos, opportunity pipeline support (with BD/AM partners), and content creation (blogs, whitepapers).

Internal stakeholders: BD/AMs (paired account partners), SA Manager, Specialist SAs, ProServe, Product teams, CSMs/TAMs.

Customers: SMB, Enterprise, and Digital Native businesses — engaging CTOs, engineering leads, and DevOps teams.

Problems solved: Cloud migration, cost optimisation, GenAI adoption, compliance architecture, and competitive displacement — while feeding customer signals back to AWS product teams.
