A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Product Marketing Manager at Spectra-Physics, you will partner with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Customers to drive the business performance of the multi-photon and bio-imaging product lines.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Defining and communicating the product line strategy and product roadmap, including defining requirements and business cases for new products
  • Forecasting product line volumes, revenue and margins, with sales and operations input
  • Developing an understanding of market segmentation, application and customer needs, competition, market trends and dynamics to support strategies to target new opportunities and threats
  • Managing the product lifecycle including leading decisions for product changes, new models, resource priorities and eventual model obsolescence
  • Creating and conveying messaging and content for marketing materials including advertisements, datasheets, tradeshows, website, PR, product memos, newsletters and collateral
  • Supporting sales to win new business and orders which will include presenting at conferences and assisting with tradeshows
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 20% of Travel is required.

Skills You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or Science
  • 5+ years of product marketing or product management experience with technical products (imaging, lasers, photonics or optics)
  • Strategic thinker / planner while adept at tactical decisions and requirements of the role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Team player and works well in complex cross-functional global situations

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time

Compensation and Benefits:  

Salary Pay Range: $ 130,000.00 - 200,000.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. 

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
