This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Ads - Shopping Catalogs based in United States.
This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on building the infrastructure that powers shopping experiences across paid and organic channels.You’ll own the vision and roadmap for product catalogs and applied product knowledge capabilities at significant scale.The role sits at the intersection of advertising technology, e-commerce, AI-driven content understanding, and consumer product discovery.You’ll reduce advertiser onboarding friction, improve catalog quality, and create capabilities that directly influence advertising performance and revenue.You’ll work closely with engineering, machine learning, product marketing, sales, operations, and other product teams across a highly collaborative environment.The position requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, from defining 1–3 year platform strategies to launching and iterating on new products.It is ideal for an experienced product leader who combines strong commerce expertise, analytical thinking, AI fluency, and exceptional cross-functional influence.

Accountabilities:
- Own the end-to-end vision and 1–3 year strategy for Shopping Catalogs and Applied Product Knowledge Graph capabilities, transforming catalogs into a platform supporting both paid advertising and organic shopping experiences.
- Define and prioritize the roadmap across growth, monetization, advertiser adoption, product discovery, and platform enablement.
- Reduce advertiser onboarding friction by improving catalog ingestion, error handling, automated feed-issue resolution, product and item-group matching, and longer-term URL-to-catalog automation.
- Build the foundations for a scalable merchant platform and develop tools that make catalog management, diagnostics, and optimization easier for advertisers.
- Lead catalog innovation, including AI/LLM-powered enrichment, missing-attribute completion, improved product descriptions, categorization, demographic inference, and catalog-driven advertising experiences.
- Develop catalog insights that help advertisers understand how their products perform across paid and organic experiences and identify opportunities to improve results.
- Expand advertiser demand through large-scale catalog capabilities, regional metadata, and integrations that enable small and mid-sized businesses to participate in shopping programs.
- Partner with content-understanding and organic-shopping teams to develop a Universal Catalog and define the interface between advertiser catalogs, product knowledge, scraped products, and community-generated product information.
- Establish and own key performance metrics, including catalog-driven ROAS, product coverage, onboarding time, and revenue unlocked through new capabilities.
- Build dashboards and goal-setting processes, monitor performance, and ensure teams remain accountable for measurable outcomes.
- Lead experimentation and product iteration using data, customer insights, and marketplace signals to inform prioritization and product decisions.
- Represent the Shopping Catalogs product area in leadership reviews, strategic working groups, executive updates, and cross-functional planning.
- Influence multiple engineering and business teams without direct authority, creating alignment around priorities, trade-offs, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years in AdTech, retail media, marketplaces, shopping, or e-commerce platforms.
- Demonstrated experience working with product knowledge graphs, product entity resolution, product taxonomies, or comparable product data systems at scale.
- Hands-on experience shipping product feed ingestion, catalog management, product knowledge graphs, retail media catalogs, or similar commerce infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of product-feed ecosystems and common challenges associated with platforms such as Google Merchant Center, Meta Commerce Manager, Pinterest, or TikTok Shop.
- Demonstrated ability to build and launch new products while also improving and operating mature production systems.
- Strong AI fluency, including experience using AI for data analysis, automation, prototyping, or scalable agentic workflows.
- Experience building or contributing to AI-powered products; experience may come from professional work or independent projects.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives spanning multiple engineering teams as well as Product Marketing, Sales, Operations, and other business functions.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence senior technical and business leaders.
- Strong analytical judgment and comfort making decisions with incomplete information while balancing risk, speed, customer value, and business impact.
- Bias toward action, ownership, experimentation, and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to combine strategic product thinking with rigorous execution, from defining an MVP through launch, iteration, and operational scaling.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts such as retrieval, candidate selection, ranking signals, personalization, and the trade-offs between LLM-derived and traditional features is a plus.
- Experience with LLM-driven content understanding or feature engineering is preferred.
- Experience supporting SMB commerce through platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce is a plus.
- Experience with multi-region catalog, pricing, currency, or localization systems is advantageous.
- Experience building or operating a merchant center, catalog quality platform, advertiser console, or comparable data-management product is desirable.

- Base salary: $190,800–$267,100 USD, with final compensation determined by factors such as skills, experience, credentials, and location.
