Position Summary
The Peoplesoft Administrator will be responsible for helping to support, analyze and develop business solutions. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently, and typically requires close supervision on new tasks only. The candidate will be expected to maintain all environments by performing tasks such as installing upgrades, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues and providing support for continuous testing activities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Magnit’s multiple upcoming capital projects.
- Perform environment refreshes. Streamline the environment refresh process.
- Apply PeopleSoft PUMs to required environments
- Monitor and maintain all PeopleSoft delivered architecture components.
- Support PeopleSoft Integration Broker
- Assist in any nVision issues encountered by our business team
- Analyze and complete all migrations of internal/external PeopleSoft objects
- Monitor and maintain external/internal interface components (FTP, files, services, etc.)
- PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components including Application server, Web server and process Scheduler
- Works with DBAs, Network Engineers, Server administrators and Developers as needed
- Security support for Peoplesoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.61.
- Perform requirements gathering and preparation of technical specifications/documentation for upgrades, conversions and/or transition projects.
- Ensure the timely delivery and expected functionality of project initiatives.
SKILLS:
- Extensive experience in PeopleSoft Systems, Security, Database & OS administration supporting PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM & IH applications across 9.2/8.58 versions.
- Experience with SQL
- Experience in and thorough knowledge of the software development processes (SDLC)
- Extensive experience (prefer 5+ years’ experience) in and thorough understanding of:
- Troubleshooting and maintaining PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components including Application server, Web server and process Scheduler
- PeopleSoft Security framework and able to manage day-to-day security access requests setting up Users, Roles, Permission Lists, Query/object security, Integration Broker security, Report Security and Business Unit, Row Level & User Preferences Security. This includes Peoplesoft Security audit reporting.
- Portal, SSO, AD/LDAP setup and should be able to troubleshoot any sign on related issues.
- Integration Broker setup/configuration as well as handling integration issues between PeopleSoft to PeopleSoft and PeopleSoft to third-party Applications.
- PeopleSoft Database /Oracle database administration / WebLogic administration
- Tuning Performance issues across different tiers of PeopleSoft Application, Process Scheduler, Web, Integration Gateway and Database Servers.
- Tuning online and Batch performance issues.
- Working on maintenance of latest version of PeopleSoft Applications (HCM, FSCM, and IH), PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (Oracle DB, Tuxedo, WebLogic, IIS) and related utilities including COBOL, STAT, Crystal/BI Publisher, nVision, Clean Address, etc.
- Installing, configuring and setting up PeopleSoft applications ground up. Installing PUM demos, extracting DPK Change Packages, patches, updates/fixes and applying them using Change Assistant.
- Designing strategies and implementing Clustering, load balancing and failover across all layers of PIA including Web, Integration Gateway, Application and Process Scheduler Servers.
- Migration of other PeopleSoft interface components including Self-service/benefits portal, nVision, BI Publisher, and third-party dependent apps.
- Must have a proven ability to work independently, as well as to function as a participating team member.
- Experience in quickly gathering and analyzing information to make timely and appropriate decisions on system issues.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple assignments of a diverse nature.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks on time is required.

- PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, FSCM 9.2, IH 9.1 with PeopleTools 8.60+ running on Oracle Linux x86-64 V. 6-7, Windows 10, Server 2012-2019
- Oracle Database 19c+
- WebLogic 11g/12c, Tuxedo 11g/12c, Apache, VMware
- 9.2 PUM, DPK, CA, Upgrade & Security Specialist
- PeopleTools utilities, including nVision, Crystal, BI Publisher, etc.
- Visual COBOL, Clean Address, etc.
- Jira Cloud Ticketing
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent education/experience.
- Trained and Certified Agile Professional strongly desired.
