Pay Rate:

$65,000 to 85,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

The Bogalusa Mill is seeking a Financial Analyst. Job responsibilities will include interacting with mill operations personnel on a day-to-day basis, as well as performing routine financial assignments. These assignments can include measuring progress against meeting various objectives, analyzing business results, developing an annual budget and preparing short-term forecasts.

o Actively participate as a member of a business unit

o Review/analyze key performance measures and variances

o Develop the annual budget and assure that cost information is accurate

o Monthly reporting and communication of financial performance against objectives

o Ensure accurate and timely financial and operating statistical information for the identification of potential business problems and opportunities

o Ensure compliance of efficient and effective internal controls on all transactions of company assets and interests, including legal, state and local taxes and insurance claims

o Ensure that the facility maintains accurate books and records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and that the business is conducted in compliance with established corporate, sector and division policies, procedures and practices

o Lead cost reduction initiatives within the finance business unit and the mill

o Develop tools that increase visibility of process impacts on mill financial performance and increase accuracy of monthly forecasting

o Serve as primary backup for various other functions across the finance department

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

Education – bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or accounting

Relevant business experience preferred

Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to work effectively with others

Skilled using spreadsheet programs (Microsoft Excel) and other data visualization tools
