Requirements

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team within Vistry South East, at our office in Redhill, Surrey. As our Senior Finance Analyst, you will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for month-end close, the production of weekly, monthly, and annual management reports and Statutory Accounts, along with supporting analytics and information.

More about the Senior Finance Analyst role…

  • Working with the Financial Controller to drive timely month-end close across the region.
  • Preparation of management accounts and supporting commentary on a monthly basis.
  • Reconciling project gross profit to management accounts gross profit, verifying reconciling items with the commercial finance function.
  • Ensuring integrity of data on COINS and Anaplan. Assisting with new site setup and maintenance of sites.
  • Posting of house sale completion statements and journals to COINS.
  • Monitoring daily bank movements and variance analysis.
  • Ensuring invoices are raised in line with the sales forecast, analysing variances with the QS.
  • Updating and reviewing the retention tracker and bonds forecast with senior management, setting targets for completion.
  • Monitoring customer care costs, ensuring costs are recharged to subcontractors wherever possible.
  • Manage production of weekly sales and build reports.
  • Improving systems and procedures.
  • Preparation of schedules for statutory audit.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Finance team to ensure integrity of the accounting system.
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving unusual items in a timely manner.
  • Deputising for FC during any absences
