From your first day, you will have the space to take initiative, make meaningful contributions, and help drive us forward as a team. 

In this hybridized role, you will bridge the gap between commercial growth and product value. Rooted firmly in the Marketing team, you will own how we communicate Smoobu's value on our website and in our external communication. You will lead our core commercial  campaigns while simultaneously deep-diving into product positioning, customer insights, and feature adoption to turn trial users into lifelong, successful hosts. 

  • Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate closely with Product to bring new features to market through impactful messaging, launch campaigns, website updates, and internal marketing enablement.
  • Product Marketing Enablement: Act as the ultimate product expert within the Marketing team. Ensure understanding of new features, integrations and customer value. Create messaging frameworks, internal documentation and launch materials that help Marketing communicate product value consistently.
  • Feature Adoption & Retention: Partner with Product and CRM to design and launch targeted value-driven campaigns to drive active use of existing features, new updates, and native marketplace integrations, maximizing customer lifetime value.
  • Product Positioning & Messaging:  Contribute to customer segmentation and persona development by bringing together customer insights, product knowledge, and commercial performance data. Translating complex technical software features into clear, value-driven benefits for different host personas.
  • Commercial Campaign Management: Own the strategy, execution, and optimization of our major annual commercial (discounted) campaigns, including our flagship Black Friday campaign.
  • Customer Insights & Competitive Analysis: Leverage customer interviews, surveys, support insights, and product data to understand customer motivations and adoption barriers, while keeping a pulse on the competitive landscape to ensure Smoobu remains clearly differentiated.

  • Drive Feature & Integration Adoption: Show a measurable increase in the adoption and expansion of key "sticky" features (e.g., our Website Builder, Automated Messaging) and premium Add-ons among target user segments. 
  • Increase Free Trial Conversion & Activation: Improve the conversion rate from free trial to paid subscriber by delivering the right message to the right persona at the right time.
  • Streamline Go-to-Market & Enablement: Launch new features smoothly with synchronized marketing messaging, ensuring the entire Marketing team is fully equipped with the positioning frameworks and asset kits they need to drive consistent external communication. 
  • Hit Commercial Campaign Targets: Successfully execute our core promotional campaigns, meeting sign-up and revenue goals.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality work aligned with team and company goals.
