Purpose of the role:
Develop, program, test and maintain assigned software applications, delivering robust IT solutions that meet business needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyze user needs and assess technical feasibility
- Produce technical analysis and documentation for application changes
- Test solutions and ensure they meet quality standards
- Monitor production, fix issues, and continuously improve applications
- Handle service requests and bug resolution
- Act as technical advisor for internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new features and bug fixes in Java, following existing patterns and team standards
- Participate actively in the team's Agile/Scrum process
- Document applications (user manuals, processes, etc.)
Requirements:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Java development
- Strong expertise in Java 8+ (Spring, Reactive Streams, Maven)
- Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins, JIRA
- Database knowledge (Oracle, SQL, DB2)
- Experience with IntelliJ or similar IDE
- Solid frontend experience in recent Angular versions (React a plus)
- Familiarity with ngrx, OpenID Connect, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, SASS
- JSON Form knowledge is a plus
- Fluent in French or Dutch, working knowledge of English
