Roles and Accountabilities

  • Analyzes market research, economic data, and industry trends to develop and recommend localized product and pricing strategies that maximize competitiveness for Toyota and Lexus.
  • Research the competitive landscape and customer preferences to adjust MSRP positioning, product specifications, technologies, and sales mix, ensuring alignment with market demand and brand strategy.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with TMNA regarding product lifecycle updates, new model introductions, pricing updates, and strategic changes to ensure timely alignment with corporate direction and execution plans.
  • Selects product configurations based on pre-study insights to enhance brand value, strengthen market positioning, and increase customer appeal.
  • Develops and presents product and pricing proposals for executive approval to support informed decision-making and strategic alignment within TdPR.
  • Communicates approved product and pricing strategies across cross-functional business units (e.g., Supply and Demand, VDC, Marketing, Training, and others) to ensure organizational alignment and effective execution of product launches and updates. 
  • Conducts physical inspections of vehicle model codes to verify alignment between delivered products and approved orders, reducing discrepancies and operational risk.
  • Verifies compliance with federal and local regulations on vehicle labeling and standardized specifications to mitigate regulatory risk and maintain legal compliance.
  • Maintains data integrity and timely product and pricing information updates across internal systems (e.g., COSMOS, TOMS, SVS, NVS, TOYOTA AND LEXUS WEB SITES, etc.) to support accurate reporting and operational continuity.
  • Identifies and evaluates optimal ILA, FSA, and PPO accessory alternatives and ensures timely PPO model maintenance in SVS to support PPO by providing critical data for sales performance and effective execution of the vehicle model code strategy.

 

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in Marketing or Finance.
  • Experience: At least five (5) years of job-related experience
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in each language.
  • Work Location: Puerto Rico Metro Area; primarily office-based work, some traveling may be necessary
