To ensure the support and maintain the data warehouse in line with the data model; metadata repository and to provide business intelligence analysis through performing strategic and operational support.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage vendor relationship interactionsby conforming to vendor managementoffice guidelines and principles.
  • Ensure customer needs are met through regular customer feedback sessions.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and Data Mart development.
  • Advanced SQL development skills and expertise in data transformation, integration, and optimisation.
  • Strong Power BI capabilities, including data modelling, semantic models, dashboard development, and self-service reporting solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modelling, metadata management, and data governance principles.

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification

  • A Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Essential Certifications

  • Data Management (DAMA) Certification, Certification/formal training in relevant technology

Minimum Experience Level

  • Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or related disciplines within a banking or financial services environment.
  • Practical experience designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouse, lakehouse, and data mart solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL development, data transformation, and data integration techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience in Power BI data modelling, semantic model development, visualisation, and enterprise reporting.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse architecture, dimensional modelling, and the delivery of scalable self-service analytics solutions.
  • Experience applying data governance, metadata management, and best-practice data management frameworks in complex enterprise environments.
