Job responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership and managerial direction to the Certification team specialized in Electrical discipline supporting multiple Collins SBU’s with cross functional teams 
  • Manages, develops and motivates the team of experienced engineers on Electrical Certification, Software Certification and Qualification Testing.
  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports. 
  • Accountable for project planning, developing and administering budget, schedules and performance standards for multiple projects 
  • Accountable for managing program risks and developing mitigation plans. 
  • Perform resource planning, analyses hiring requirements, metrics and trends to influence team strategy and performance. 
  • Performs competency assessment, arrange training & performance discussions 
  • Drives process excellence, continuous improvements and ensure compliance. 
  • Leads departmental/organizational initiatives. 
  • Explores and drives strategic growth opportunities for test equipment. 

Qualifications You Must Have *:

  • 12-15 years of relevant experience in Electronics product development & Qualification testing with at least 6-8 Years of experience in Project and People Management. 
  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent degree.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering along with hands on working experience with RTCA DO-160, DO-254 and DO-178 standards for airborne equipment's.
