You will be:

  • developing and validating Java-based integration solutions,
  • reproducing and troubleshooting issues with the ClickHouse JDBC connector,
  • debugging and fixing Kerberos/GSS authentication for Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server,
  • migrating the connector from JDBC v1 to JDBC v2,
  • testing and verifying functionality across Windows, VPN and Tableau environments,
  • packaging and signing connector releases for deployment,
  • collaborating with technical stakeholders to resolve complex integration challenges.

Your profile:

  • extensive experience with Java development and integration projects,
  • practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery,
  • strong knowledge of JDBC driver development and debugging,
  • hands-on experience with Kerberos/GSS authentication,
  • experience integrating Java applications with Tableau or similar BI platforms,
  • solid understanding of ClickHouse or other analytical databases,
  • experience working with legacy code and migrating existing solutions,
  • familiarity with Windows-based development environments and VPN access,
  • experience with packaging, signing and releasing Java applications,
  • strong troubleshooting and debugging skills,
  • ability to work independently and deliver technical solutions with minimal supervision,
  • good communication skills and fluent technical English (at least B2 level).

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

• experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.

  • interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches.
