Full description

You enjoy shaping the future of product innovation as a core member of the team, driving value for customers, guiding successful launches, and exceeding expectations. Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality products and data experiences that resonate with clients and internal users.

As a Product Manager in Internal Reporting, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for innovating new product offerings and leading the end-to-end product lifecycle. You will act as the voice of the customer, define product strategy and priorities, and develop scalable products that deliver measurable customer and business value.

This role uniquely combines strong product management discipline with deep data and analytics expertise. You will partner with business, engineering, design, data, and AI/ML teams to transform complex datasets and business requirements into intuitive reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled experiences. You will be expected to understand the underlying data, challenge assumptions, shape semantic models and metrics, and use data to make informed product decisions.

As a Product Manager for the Internal Reporting channel within Merchant Services, you will help own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a centralized reporting experience that provides access to merchant reporting, enables scalable self-service analytics, and delivers trusted, timely, and accurate reporting. You will also play a key role in emerging conversational AI capabilities, helping define how users dynamically query, interpret, and interact with trusted enterprise data.

Success will be measured through adoption of trusted reporting and AI-enabled insights, strong governance and controls, improved self-service capabilities, measurable business outcomes, and the successful migration and decommissioning of legacy reporting platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for the Internal Reporting channel, aligned with Merchant Services and broader organizational priorities.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify customer and business friction points, translate them into product/analytics opportunities, define requirements, and establish measurable success criteria.
  • Establish governance for the reporting content lifecycle (data quality, entitlements, release management, versioning, and change control) across curated and self-service experiences.
  • Centralize internal access to merchant reporting with strong identity, entitlement, traceability, privacy, and least-privilege controls.
  • Curate and maintain a library of certified reports, dashboards, metrics, and reusable reporting assets with disciplined release and change-management practices.
  • Enable scalable self-service analytics through reusable semantic layers, certified datasets, refiner tables, and publishing workflows that standardize business definitions.
  • Design, build, validate, and audit core business metrics to ensure consistency with organizational KPIs across reporting, analytics, and AI applications.
  • Apply structured analytical and statistical thinking (e.g., historical trend and cohort analysis) to separate systemic shifts from short-term noise and influence product priorities.
  • Use advanced SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions) and Python (manipulation, automation, parsing, statistical analysis) to investigate data, validate requirements/metrics, and support decisions.
  • Build and scale high-impact dashboards and self-service reporting experiences (e.g., Tableau and enterprise reporting tools) for operational and executive audiences.
  • Prioritize and deliver high-impact use cases (reports, dashboards, semantic models, self-service analytics, and AI-driven insights), partner with data/engineering/AI teams to operationalize them, execute legacy platform decommissioning, and embed risk/controls/telemetry with executive-ready outcome narratives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Computer Science, or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Product Management, data analytics, reporting, and/or data platforms, with the ability to connect product strategy to hands-on analytical thinking.
  • Domain experience in payments, merchant acquiring, risk, financial services, or technology-enabled services.
  • Proven ability to define product strategy, manage roadmaps, prioritize opportunities, develop requirements, and guide products through discovery, development, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement. Experience building or scaling enterprise reporting and analytics products with both curated and self-service capabilities.
  • Mastery of advanced SQL (complex joins, CTEs, window functions) and proficiency in Python (manipulation, parsing, automation, statistical exploration) to independently validate complex datasets. Experience maintaining semantic layers, certified datasets, and refiner tables to drive consistent definitions across BI and AI applications.
  • Proven experience building or shaping production-grade Tableau dashboards and scalable self-service reporting experiences, including trend/cohort analysis or predictive metric tracking to inform strategy.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and JSON, including practical understanding of API integrations and error-handling patterns.
  • Strong working experience with modern cloud data warehouses and analytics platforms (including Snowflake) and familiarity with AI - Snowflake Cortex. Experience with LLM powered summarizations of large data sets and ML based detection of duplicates.
  • Experience defining product/service metrics and measuring success through business outcomes, adoption signals, quality measures, reliability/performance indicators, and telemetry.
  • Experience operating in regulated environments with risk, control, privacy, governance, audit requirements, plus strong understanding of metadata/lineage, performance optimization, SDLC practices, and governing entitlements (RBAC/ABAC) and conversational AI/NLP experiences; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in being able to up-level conversations, summarize information, build quality presentations and present to execs like biz unit heads and heads of large teams. Objective is to provide executive-ready outcome narratives & decision-ready materials.
