Summary

We are seeking an accomplished DevOps Engineer with a specialized focus on Kubernetes to lead critical infrastructure initiatives within our IT Services sector. This pivotal role demands a professional with 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience to architect, deploy, and maintain robust cloud-native environments. The successful candidate will serve as a technical authority, ensuring high availability and scalability for complex systems, particularly within the banking domain, while driving automation strategies that streamline operations and enhance system reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage scalable Kubernetes clusters across diverse environments, including public clouds (AWS/GCP), on-premise data centers, and hybrid setups using platforms like Rancher.
  • Lead the implementation of comprehensive DevOps automation frameworks to optimize software delivery pipelines and reduce manual intervention.
  • Oversee production support activities, ensuring rapid incident response and resolution to maintain strict service level agreements.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure consistent and repeatable environment provisioning.
  • Architect and refine CI/CD workflows to facilitate seamless integration and deployment of applications.
  • Provide expert guidance on container orchestration best practices, leveraging Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) level knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize cluster performance.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Possess 8 to 12 years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, including on-premise and cloud-based deployments.
  • Hold a Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification or equivalent proven mastery of container orchestration.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency with major cloud service providers, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Have extensive hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Show a proven track record in managing CI/CD pipelines and implementing DevOps automation strategies.
  • Bring specific domain knowledge of the banking or financial sector, understanding the unique security and compliance requirements of the industry.
  • Salary expectation: ₹30 Lakhs per annum or higher.
