Job Description

Sr. Clinical Data Scientist (RBQM Analytics), AbbVie Inc., North Chicago Illinois, IL, Hybrid (onsite 3 fixed days a week/ 2 days WFH/remote).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design & implementation of Machine Learning models for Clinical insights.
  • Use statistical methods to develop prototypes & algorithms.
  • Leverage emerging statistical methodologies, ML & AI to drive innovative analytical solutions to create insights.
  • Experiment & recommend additional techniques to solve business problems with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure adherence to federal regulations & applicable local regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), ICH Guidelines, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), & to functional quality standards.
  • Identify business needs & support creation of standard KPIs, reports, & statistical analyses.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, data science or statistics, & 2 years of progressive work experience in data science role. 

Of experience required, must have 2 years:

  • programming using R & Python to support data analysis;
  • building dashboard for data visualization using tools such as Spotfire, Tableau & MS power PI;
  • building statistical models to support clinical trials analytics & identify data-driven insights; &
  • reading & understanding clinical protocol for analysis design.

Work experience may be gained concurrently.

Additional Information

Salary Range: $124,184.48 - $183,500.00 per year.
