What the day will look like

As a Product Governance Analyst, you will support the implementation and ongoing management of Aon's Product Governance Framework across a diverse portfolio of offerings and solutions. You will work closely with product owners, Risk & Compliance teams, insurer partners, and other collaborators to help ensure products deliver fair customer outcomes. You will also help products operate within risk appetite and stay aligned with regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the embedding of the Product Governance Framework across the business and ensuring governance requirements are followed throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Providing guidance and practical support to product teams on governance requirements, risk considerations, and regulatory expectations.
  • Coordinating product review activities, ensuring reviews are completed on time and appropriate approvals are obtained and documented.
  • Building effective relationships with insurer and service provider partners, managing information requests and ensuring Fair Value Assessments are received and maintained.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date product information within governance systems and the Product Universe.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across Product, Risk, Compliance, and other collaborator groups to support effective decision making.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and helping ensure products and processes follow evolving requirements.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Experience working within a governance, risk, compliance, controls, or regulated business environment, ideally within insurance or financial services.
  • Good understanding of the insurance market and the ability to apply regulatory requirements in a practical, commercially focused way.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient written and spoken English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in engaging and collaborating with a wide range of interested parties.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and related business tools, alongside working independently and proactively.
