Based in Manchester, this permanent full-time role gives you the opportunity to play a key part in financial analysis that supports Group Functions and Manchester City Operations across the club's football and entertainment businesses. You will help turn data into clear insight, supporting decision making across Finance, Technology, People Services, Legal, Communications and Operations.

Within our Finance team, we support the business with timely insight, robust analysis and clear reporting that helps colleagues make informed decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders across Group Functions and Manchester City Operations to understand performance, identify opportunities and turn data into practical action.
The Role
This role sits at the heart of financial decision making across a varied and high-profile part of the business. You will work with colleagues across Finance, Technology, People Services, Legal, Communications and Operations to provide analysis that is accurate, thoughtful and useful, helping to shape decisions around facilities and business performance.
You will be responsible for turning detailed financial information into clear, concise outputs that colleagues can use quickly. That will include analysis of group function costs, facilities maintenance, utilities and business rates, as well as supporting presentations that summarise complex data in a meaningful way.
You will also play an important part in building trusted relationships across the organisation, presenting findings confidently to more senior colleagues and working proactively with stakeholders to improve understanding, support better planning and contribute to operational efficiency across the estate and wider business.
What You’ll Bring
- A relevant degree, an accounting qualification or relevant work experience
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to work accurately with large amounts of information and draw out practical insight
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to analyse data and create clear, easy-to-follow presentations
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- An approachable and collaborative style, with the ability to work well with colleagues across different functions and priorities
- A positive, open mindset and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality work within agreed deadlines
