We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Clapham, London team.
The Project Manager is accountable for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of the assigned project(s). As Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the interface with all key stakeholders both internally and externally during the project, especially focusing on continuous, proactive collaboration with the customer. The job holder plans, directs, and coordinates the project activities to ensure that project objectives are accomplished within the agreed schedule and budget, using approved KONE methodologies and tools. The primary objectives are customer satisfaction and KONE profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure KONE business success and customer satisfaction
- Ensure professional stakeholder management
- Accountable for proactively managing customer communication throughout the project
- Ensure integrated project planning and management with customers and KONE full chain
- teams
- Managing project deliverables in line with project plan
- Ensure continuous full chain project monitoring and control
- Responsible for successful project start-up, project reviews, project reporting and facilitating project governance
- Ensure that project status and progress is effectively communicated to KONE management
- and to customer
- Responsible for operational and financial project risk identification, mitigation, contingency
- planning and potential recovery actions
- Accountable for the project’s financial planning and forecasting, cash flow management and revenue management (capitalizing on change order opportunities)
- Responsible for actively driving Sales-to-Operations handover quality, accountable for
- handovers to Customer and Maintenance as well as project closing activities
- Maintain master action log and lessons learned document
- Plans and ensures sufficient project resourcing and competences
- Manages and leads the full chain project team
- Creates and maintains safety and security awareness amongst employees and subcontractors in the project. Ensures following of KONE's and Customer’s safety and security policies.
Skills and Experience:
- Project management background
- Customer relationship management
- Project financial management e.g., controlling costs
- General contractual understanding
- General understanding of end-to-end delivery process
- Understanding of relevant laws, standards, norms, and other requirements
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
