Client Finance Analyst I
Position Summary
The Client Finance Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day financial activity of an assigned client portfolio. The analyst is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the financial data related to the client’s relocation program. They ensure that vendor and expense payments are audited to relocation policies and client contracts as required.
This position will interact daily with the Client Service delivery team and may also interact with a Client’s internal/external accounting, payroll and/or tax departments.
Key Responsibilities
Review and Audit of Supplier Invoices (75%)
- Review and audit to client policy destination supplier invoices.
Client Financial Data & Reporting (5%)
- Responsible for all preparation and auditing to client policy of all Client financial data and reports prior to submission to Client.
- This includes all reporting requirements for each client and includes monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports per client and Director of Client Engagement requests.
Employee Payment Processing (15%)
- Audit and process transferring employee payments and communicate with the Operations counterpart for approvals and exceptions.
- Ensure that all payments are correctly coded for both classification and taxability.
Training & Special Projects (5%)
- Assist in training and special projects as needed.
- This would include mentoring for on-the-job training, employee development and acting as a subject matter expert.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
- Must be detail oriented and have good analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a team and deadline driven environment.
- Financial/Accounting knowledge preferred.
- Intermediate level of Excel skills.
Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
