This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Business Analyst Senior based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to bridge the gap between business strategy, healthcare operations, and technology solutions. The IT Business Analyst Senior serves as a key partner for business teams and technology stakeholders, helping transform complex needs into effective solutions. This position focuses on requirements gathering, process improvement, project coordination, and technology enablement within a dynamic healthcare environment. You will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to define priorities, improve workflows, and support successful technology implementations. Accountabilities: The IT Business Analyst Senior supports technology-driven business improvements by analyzing requirements, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring solutions align with organizational goals. This role acts as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, helping deliver effective technology solutions through structured analysis, communication, and project support.

  • Partner with IT teams and business units to identify opportunities where technology can improve healthcare delivery, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Analyze business goals, objectives, and processes to develop clear requirements and support solution discovery.
  • Conduct detailed interviews with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams to define functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable documentation, workflows, success metrics, and technology recommendations.
  • Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives by analyzing requirements related to payer, enrollment, attribution, and downstream data needs.
  • Support outreach initiatives by helping define campaign requirements, target populations, data logic, vendor requirements, file specifications, and testing expectations.
  • Coordinate project timelines, dependencies, risks, and scope to ensure successful execution.
  • Serve as a liaison between clinical, operational, business, and IT teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and technology service providers.
  • Support business relationship management, strategic planning, and portfolio or demand management activities.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation activities, and implementation readiness.
  • Develop project documentation, presentations, process diagrams, and knowledge-sharing materials.
  • Maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Identify risks, challenges, and improvement opportunities while supporting continuous process optimization.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced business analyst with a strong background in information systems, requirements analysis, and technology-enabled business transformation. This professional should be comfortable working across business and technical teams while managing complex initiatives in a healthcare environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Typically 5+ years of experience in information systems, business applications analysis, or related technology-focused roles.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how technology solutions support organizational objectives.
  • Experience supporting project management activities and using project management tools preferred.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with process mapping and diagramming tools such as Visio preferred.
  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail when developing requirements, documentation, risk assessments, and project plans.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing.
