We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and manage end-to-end automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and delivery quality.
- Lead the design and development of robust, production-grade solutions across the full software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to gather, clarify, and prioritise functional and technical requirements.
- Translate complex requirements into scalable, resilient, maintainable, and supportable technical solutions.
- Define and embed technical standards, engineering best practices, and quality benchmarks across the team.
- Mentor and upskill team members on architecture, coding standards, tooling, and modern engineering practices.
- Drive issue triage and resolution to keep release schedules on track and agree practical fixes to defects.
- Partner with DevOps and platform teams to improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and drive continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Demonstrate strong hands-on engineering capability, including Python 3.x development for real-world, production applications.
- Show proven experience delivering work end-to-end across planning, estimation, execution, and release management.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex functional and technical issues.
- Communicate clearly and manage stakeholders effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Build solutions with a focus on scalability, resilience, maintainability, and operational support.
- Apply engineering discipline through standards, code quality practices, and pragmatic technical governance.
- Demonstrate the ability to coach others and raise team capability through guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Bring familiarity with modern engineering ecosystems (for example: cloud, microservices, containers, DevOps tooling), with exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) and machine learning as an advantage.
