This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Ecosystem Development Manager based in United States.

This role is designed for a relationship-driven business development professional who understands how to create opportunities within the Salesforce ecosystem.You will build strategic partnerships with Salesforce stakeholders, expand market visibility, and generate qualified business opportunities within the financial services sector.The position offers the opportunity to influence growth strategy while working closely with leadership, clients, and ecosystem partners.You will play a key role in connecting organizations with Salesforce expertise and helping shape commercial expansion in a growing environment.This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who thrives on networking, strategic conversations, and building trusted relationships.You will have the autonomy to develop partnerships, refine market positioning, and directly impact business growth.

Accountabilities: As the Salesforce Ecosystem Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding ecosystem relationships, generating new business opportunities, and strengthening market presence. You will combine partnership development, business development, and industry engagement to create meaningful connections and support revenue growth.

  • Build and manage relationships with Salesforce Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Partner Managers, and ecosystem stakeholders through consistent engagement.
  • Maintain an active presence within the Salesforce community through office visits, partner events, networking opportunities, and industry gatherings.
  • Identify and pursue target accounts aligned with financial services priorities, including Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Private Equity, and related sectors.
  • Generate qualified introductions and meetings through outbound outreach, networking, and partner collaboration.
  • Educate ecosystem partners on service capabilities, industry expertise, customer success stories, and key differentiators.
  • Create ongoing engagement opportunities through market insights, relevant content, client examples, and strategic follow-up.
  • Support opportunity development from initial conversations through qualification and transition to leadership and delivery teams.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records tracking partner relationships, referrals, activities, and pipeline progress.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine messaging, positioning, and ecosystem engagement strategies.
  • Provide market intelligence on customer needs, partner priorities, competitive trends, and emerging opportunities.
  • Ensure effective handoffs between business development, leadership, and delivery teams as opportunities progress.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives that strengthen ecosystem presence and long-term commercial growth.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a proactive business development professional with Salesforce ecosystem experience, strong relationship-building abilities, and familiarity with financial services organizations. You should be comfortable operating independently, creating new connections, and developing opportunities in a rapidly evolving environment.

  • 3–6 years of experience in business development, partner development, sales, consulting, customer success, recruiting, or another relationship-focused commercial role.
  • Previous experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem, such as with Salesforce, a consulting partner, technology partner, or a role involving collaboration with Salesforce teams.
  • Understanding of how Salesforce Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Partner Managers, and consulting partners collaborate to support customer opportunities.
  • Experience supporting financial services industries, ideally including Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Private Equity, Banking, or Fintech.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce solutions used by financial services organizations, including Financial Services Cloud.
  • Demonstrated ability to build professional relationships, generate meetings, and create opportunities through networking and targeted outreach.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent follow-through and CRM management discipline.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt within a growing organization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executives, partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, persistence, and willingness to continuously learn and refine strategies.
  • Ability to regularly engage in person within the New York metropolitan area.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
