Role Overview

This role is responsible for leading and implementing HR projects and operational processes to achieve both short- and long-term objectives in partnership with business leaders. You will collaborate across HR teams to ensure the right organizational capabilities, leadership, and talent are in place, while fostering employee engagement, motivation, and recognition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support organizational staffing goals through identification, development, and retention of high-performing employees
  • Facilitate and advise on talent management processes to build the next generation of leaders
  • Partner with leaders to execute organizational plans that foster diversity and inclusion
  • Maximize performance management and total rewards tools to recognize and elevate performance
  • Lead HR projects supporting organizational change initiatives
  • Collaborate with business leaders on strategic workforce planning, including retention, training, development, and mentoring initiatives

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of HR experience beyond recruiting; line HR experience preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English

  • Project Management: Experience leading HR or business projects; critical chain or Six Sigma knowledge preferred
