Essential Functions:
Support execution team needs through writing and editing technical documentation, user manuals, standard operating procedures, and training materials. Conduct interviews with technical experts and reviewing, synthesizing, and communicating data and results to enable the delivery of clear and concise written communications and presentations. Assist with conducting interviews with technical experts, reviewing existing program materials, and compiling results. Prepare materials in accordance with established templates and government style guides and maintain and update team document templates and style guides. Edit materials to ensure all deliverables are appropriately formatted, grammatically correct, and align with the client’s expectations and business needs.
Required Experience:
- Experience writing, editing, and delivering high quality, detailed documentation on complex technical concepts
- Experience with end-to-end documentation including creation and usage in a changing environment
- Experience in interviewing and working with subject matter experts
- Experience with research and information gathering
- Ability to prepare documents that meet all grammar and editorial standards and guidelines using Microsoft Office
Nice If You Have:
- Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance requirements and PDF remediation
- Experience with working to develop technical training materials
- Experience with developing public outreach materials
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and work across workstreams on multiple projects
