Full description

If your idea of a good week is a pipeline that deploys itself and an alert that fires before anyone notices, this is your role.

You will streamline application delivery for a NATO service oriented architecture and identity team in Belgium, sitting between the developers and the platform.

What you will be doing

  • Designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that fully automate testing, integration and delivery
  • Provisioning and managing hybrid infrastructure on-premises and in cloud, using Infrastructure as Code
  • Administering container orchestration platforms and onboarding applications into production with the dev teams
  • Building the monitoring, logging and alerting that keeps the platform honest
  • Embedding security and compliance controls into the pipelines and infrastructure configuration, not bolting them on
  • Troubleshooting complex integration and deployment problems across agile delivery teams

What you will need

  • Three to five years hands-on in DevOps or automated platform management
  • Strong CI/CD, GitOps, pipeline automation and version control with GitLab, ArgoCD or Jenkins
  • Real container work: Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2, Docker
  • Infrastructure as Code in practice: Terraform for provisioning, Ansible for configuration
  • Hybrid estate experience across VMware and a major cloud, Azure, AWS or GCP
  • Scripting in Bash or Python

Worth knowing before you apply

  • Fully on-site in Braine-l'Alleud
  • About 700 hours from late September to the end of December 2026
